Digital Currency Summit, a debate forum which objectives are to understand what digital currency means and its implications for banks, governments and investors. We will attract bankers, lawyers and politicians from all around the world to debate about this topic.

We will explain Cryptocurrencies from the ground. No previous experience is required to attend the conference. In three days our attendees will understand how the protocol works and how it affects to modern economy. We focus on regulation, financial strategy and investment opportunities

Has been a visiting scholar at dozens of central banks and economics departments around the world.

Garrick's research interests include systemic risk, sovereign credit, financial crises, black markets, financial repression, taxation, regulation, banking, deposit insurance, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He has been invited to present his research to a diverse group of international organizations and conferences in Asia, the U.S., Europe and Africa. Garrick currently teaches on a comparative national economic performance course at the London School of Economics.

Marco Santori

Marco Santori is a business attorney and commercial litigator in New York City. He advises his clients on regulatory matters, including the compliance with and avoidance of money services and securities regulations. The winner of the first annual Blockchain Award for Bitcoin Legal Expert, Marco is fluent in the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Patriot Act’s application to digital currency businesses, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulation.

A tech contributor to Forbes Magazine and CoinDesk, Jon is also Editor of The Monetary Future, a leading economics blog at the intersection of free banking, cryptography, and digital currency. Previously CEO of Hushmail and Chief Forex Trader at VISA, Jon has also held senior posts at Sumitomo Bank and VeriSign

Constance Choi

DATA

Constance advises and supports startups and established companies in global financial regulations, licensing and compliance, government advocacy, bank partnerships, and strategic market development for digital asset (sevenadvisory.com). Constance is also a founder of DATA, the self-regulatory organization established in July 2013 for the digital asset industry (datauthority.org). Prior to these roles, she co-founded the Kraken Exchange, where she served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Constance also formerly practiced at Kirkland & Ellis, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Perkins Coie, focusing on Internet law, IP law, privacy, data security, consumer protection and constitutional rights.

Yago is a founding member of DATA, the international self-regulatory body and standards association for the digital asset industry. Flavio was responsible for the first full-web Supply Chain Management System in Latin America in 1997. Flavio has a B.S. in Computer Science and a MBA from FGV/SP.

Alberto Gómez Toribio

Alberto is the CEO and Co-Founder of Coinffeine.com. He has strong background on R&D projects and Bitcoin technology. He has worked for the Spanish Government, Sony Enternainment, Stratio and Telefónica R&D among others.
In 2013, he created the first Bitcoin Debit Card Wallet prototype with a price lower than 20$, but he left the project to work on the first P2P and decentralized Bitcoin Exchange: Coinffeine, which uses a Game Theory mathematical model to ensure the safety to exchange money in return of Bitcoins in an automatically, decentralized and anonymous way.
